Why It is a Good Idea to Ignore The Financial Media

If I’d open the news or read a newspaper before I go about my investing, I’d probably either turn down the idea all together or start a massive short selling. With the recent rally of the Israeli Stock Market, I have yet to find one positive newspaper piece besides the usual negative tone towards the stock market.

It seems that the media has taken the stance of trying to scare the general public from investing in stocks. We all know the saying that in the long run, the stock market returns have consistently outperformed other risk free investments (bonds etc..) So for those who are skeptical, here is a nice graph to show how consistent this saying is all over the world

    Hello?
I was just wondering if you know anything about Cimatron (CIMT). It is an Israeli company trading here in US on Nasdaq?

Not really, I don’t follow specific stocks.
